A new generation of farming.
Meet our founder, Brody Ferguson.
What started as a middle school science project in 2015 has grown into Idaho’s premier mushroom farm. With a passion for exploring the enhanced flavor and health benefits of fungi, Brody is helping shape the next generation of Idaho farming, one mushroom at a time.
Rooted in sustainability and authenticity, this is real food, grown by real people, right here in Idaho.
Enhancing culinary curiosity.
Ferg's Fungi is dedicated to producing exceptional gourmet mushrooms, helping more people discover just how fascinating—and versatile—fungi can be.
Our product lineup goes beyond the ordinary, featuring thoughtfully grown varieties like Oyster, King Trumpet, Chestnut, Shiitake, Lion’s Mane, and Reishi, each chosen for its flavor, function, and culinary potential.
But we don't stop at fresh mushrooms.
Our offerings extend into handcrafted mushroom seasonings, dried mushrooms, and delicious mushroom cocoa. Products designed to make mushrooms easy to enjoy in everyday life.
For the curious and hands-on, we also offer simple, beginner-friendly grow kits, bringing the experience of growing high-quality mushrooms right into your home.
Rooted in Idaho.
Nestled on a family farm in Greenleaf, Idaho, Ferg’s Fabulous Fungi is rooted in land that’s been cared for for generations.
Idaho’s rich agricultural heritage and close-knit farming communities create rare opportunities for young farmers to grow, experiment, and thrive. You’ll find Ferg’s not only online, but at farmers markets and restaurants across the Treasure Valley, sharing fresh, locally grown mushrooms with the community that makes it all possible.
We proudly prioritize Idaho partnerships, focusing on local collaborations that lift everyone up. From working alongside fellow small businesses like Garlic Goddess to being featured on Farm Deliver Boise, we believe in growing together and keeping success close to home.
Sustainability just makes sense.
Supporting small local farmers like us helps create a more sustainable food system. By growing close to home and focusing on thoughtful, small-scale practices, we reduce environmental impact while keeping food fresh, local, and responsibly grown.
When you shop local, you’re investing in the land, the farmers, and the future of your community.
