Ingredients

Steps: 

  • Heat grill to medium-high heat. While grill is heating, melt butter in microwave or low-setting on stovetop. Once the butter melts, add in soy sauce and a generous amount of Umami Seasoning.
  • Transfer cubed fresh fungi to medium bowl. Add half of the combined butter and toss to coat. Place remaining butter on the side. Put the coated mushrooms on BBQ skewers, leaving a 2-3 inch gap at the bottom for a handle. 
  • Once the grill is heated, transfer skewers on to grill, cook for 8-10 minutes, turning each 2 minutes or so. Re-apply leftover melted butter with a brush every turn. 
  • Remove skewers from grill once cooked, top with additional Umami Seasoning and optional fresh lemon zest to taste. Serve and enjoy!
